As of mid July 2017, Dr. Kathleen Casamiquela has moved to Southern California to be closer to family.  The remaining doctors at Union Square Dermatology are available to address medical and cosmetic skin concerns.  Thanks for all, Dr. KC!

 

SF Premiere of "Take My Nose...Please!"

 

Thrilled to report that former Allure Editor and first time film maker Joan Kron will attend two SF screenings of the documentary “Take My Nose...Please!”  Examining society’s love/hate relationship with plastic surgery, the film follows 2 comedians as they decide whether to go under the knife.  Added benefit:  Skinema's own Dr. Vail Reese, briefly popping up here and there as a talking head.  Having won the audience award at the Miami Film Festival, the doc has been selected for the SF Documentary Film Festival.  It will be at the Roxie in the Mission on June 9th 2017 and the following Wednesday June 14th 2017 at the Vogue in Pac Heights. 

 

Joan and Dr. Reese will be in the Q & A panel after the film for both showings.  For tickets and another glance at the trailer:
